peace flows
and i can lay my head

I cannot see you

soothing a soft

there is no fear
of the dark monster
lurking in the closet
under the bed
my protector
sits here
beside me caressing my hair
he saved me by His
mighty grace
He washed away the grime
from those men's evil
wicked crime
I'm whole and new
sweet sweet sleep
as peace flows
from Him
who loved me whole
un scared and unbroken
